editing & Culling

For photographers

private editing and culling outsourcing for wedding and portrait photographers

I can't even begin to tell you how many of my friends in the industry have talked about how overwhelmed they were with their editing and felt like they could never get on top of it. As someone who really enjoys editing, I wanted to provide an option for anyone who feels like that to get some work off of their plate!

Outsourcing your editing gives you the ability to put your focus back on what you love most about your business, book more sessions without worrying about extra editing that comes with that, and spend more time with your family. My goal is to provide you with peace of mind, professionalism, and galleries that your clients will adore for a lifetime!

how it works

1. Let's chat

You've thoroughly combed through my website and you like what you see. The next step is filling out the contact form at the end of this page so we can chat more via email and make sure we're the perfect fit for one another!

2. we're official

Once we've determined we're a good fit, we will make it official by signing an agreement! While my hope is that we will be able to work together over and over again (which leads to the best editing experience in general!), I don't require commitments to long-term contracts. There are no minimums, and one-off galleries are accepted.

3. schedule your Projects

Once we're official, you'll receive a welcome packet with how-to guides and the link to your personal client portal. Once in the portal, you'll have access to a scheduler where you can let me know when you plan on sending your projects to be edited so I can plan ahead!

4. Send your images

Your welcome packet will provide detailed instructions on how to send your images to be culled and/or edited. Once I've received your project, you'll receive your culled images in 3-5 business days and your edited images in 5-8 business days.

5. Deliver your gallery

Once you've received your final gallery back from me, you can export the gallery from Lightroom and upload it to your gallery viewing platform to send off to your clients! I always encourage my clients to send me feedback at this time that I can apply to their next project!

what's included

Once you send me your images, you'll tell me your ideal number that you'd like to deliver, as well as any special details you'd like for me to know before I begin. I'll get as close to that number as possible! When I'm culling, I'm looking for images that are in focus with everyone's eyes open and consistent with your style and the vision for the day, as well as cutting out the duplicates. It's important to note that your images won't be deleted—I will simply flag my selections so you have the ability to make changes if you want!

How do you match my style?

We will go over all of this in the onboarding process, but through a combination of a questionnaire, having you record a screen recording of your editing process, and something called "anchor images," I'm able to nail any style you throw at me! My ability to match your unique style will improve the more times we work together as well.

Am I locked into a contract?

Nope! While I will have you sign a contract before we begin working together so we are both on the same page about everything, you aren't locked into sending me a certain number of galleries. I accept one-off galleries or galleries on a seasonal basis depending on availability.

How do I know if i'm ready to outsource?

If you are confident in your shooting & editing style and you want some extra time spent with your family instead of in front of your computer, then you're ready to outsource! I promise you are in good hands and we will work together to make sure your images are exactly  how you like them!

Culling is charged at a flat rate of $25 for 500 images or less and $75 for 500 images or more.

Editing is $0.39 per image.

I'd love to hear from you! Please complete this form or send a note directly to
