I’m so excited to share these photos from Cam & Cody’s Austin engagement session!! These two were so sweet and fun, and I LOVED that they were up for anything I suggested to get the perfect photo (including walking through some really tall grass and standing on a rock on the edge of a pond!!).
We had their engagement session at the Dallas Arboretum on the calendar for months before everything with COVID-19 required us to postpone and find a new location since the Arboretum was closed. But it ended up working out perfectly that we could meet up in the Austin-area for their engagement session while I was in town for a wedding!
Cam chose Berry Springs Park in Georgetown for their session which I LOVE! I used to go here all the time for shoots when I lived in Georgetown, and it was so much fun to be back! Cam mentioned she wanted a place that she and Cody could go back and visit in the future to remind them of this special season of their lives. How sweet is that?! Berry Springs is the perfect place for a picnic date, and I can just imagine them relaxing in the park and flipping through their engagement photos together one day!
Cam and Cody met way back in high school and have been together ever since! Cam was telling me how difficult it is to actually surprise her with anything, but Cody managed to do just that when he proposed (and she had even just gotten her nails done!). I loved getting to spend some time getting to know them, hear about how they met, and talk all about being fellow dog parents. I’m so excited for their wedding in September at the beautiful Canyonwood Ridge venue when these two will finally become husband and wife!
