My heart has been hurting so much for every single couple whose wedding day has been affected by the coronavirus. So many of my sweet brides & grooms have had to postpone their big day or have been forced to cut back on the number of guests who can celebrate with them. Planning a wedding during coronavirus has certainly made weddings look much different for so many people, and as a Dallas wedding photographer, I’ve seen it firsthand. Since I’m sure there are many people who are in the planning process right now who are wondering what to do and how the coronavirus is affecting weddings going forward, I’m going to share some of my thoughts on the matter to hopefully make the process a little easier!

This dusty blue editorial shoot makes for a perfect Davis & Grey Farms wedding! I loved planning this shoot with my sweet friend Megan from Williams Event Planning and being back at Davis & Grey for another beautiful shoot! Our vision for this editorial wedding shoot was a simple and elegant design, neutral colors, and small touches of dusty blue.

Though they’re getting married in Austin, Nicole & Tyler wanted to have their engagement session in Waco since it’s where they first met. They’re both Baylor grads like me which I LOVE! When I was planning our wedding, one of my favorite things was scouring the Internet for beautiful wedding decor. That being said, if you’ve ever searched for anything wedding-related on Amazon, Etsy, etc., things can get really overwhelming. It’s a challenge to find beautiful, high-quality items for your big day that don’t totally break the […]

Nice to meet you! I'm a wedding photographer, wife, believer, and proud dog mom. I grew my business in my tiny college dorm room and took it full time when I graduated. I now live in Dallas, Texas, with my husband, Hudson, and our golden retriever, Brighton! I survive on coffee & chocolate, always have a podcast playing, and use way too many exclamation points!

Though my love of photography began at age 13, my desire to serve couples on their wedding day began when Hudson and I got engaged! Getting to celebrate with my couples (and provide lots of wedding planning tips + tricks along the way) brings me so much joy!
