I'm a hopeless romantic who finds great joy in creating and capturing connection and beauty wherever I go.
Deciding on a photographer to capture your wedding day is no small task. There are so many things to think about, and you want to make sure you do your homework before making this big decision. I know you’ve probably read this on every photographer’s website, but it doesn’t make what I’m about to say any less true—your photographs are the only thing you get to keep after the wedding day (besides your spouse). It’s worth spending some time thinking through what you want out of your photography experience and identify what’s important to you.
Waiting to get the film scans back from this European-inspired editorial at Hidden Waters Wedding & Events Venue in Waxahachie felt like torture! I was so excited to participate in this gorgeous shoot and have the chance to work with so many incredible vendors. We had three different couples and setups stationed throughout the venue, and it was such a wonderful opportunity to be creative and try out some new ideas. Take a look at some of my favorite images from the editorial below!
I have been sitting on these photos for a month now and am so happy I can finally share them!! We took Kayle’s bridal photos at the gorgeous Arlington Hall at Turtle Creek, and I am obsessed with them! Kayle looked so beautiful in her wedding dress with delicate lace and a gorgeous long train. I also love that her veil belonged to one of her close friends, making it the perfect “something borrowed.”
Flat lay details photos are some of my favorite shots to take on the wedding day, and they’re a wonderful addition to your wedding album. To help this go smoothly, I put together a quick reference guide of details you might want to add to your flat lay photos!
I’m so excited to share these photos from Kylie & BJ’s wedding day at Trickle Creek Ranch! It felt like just yesterday we were taking their engagement photos, but I was so excited to see them again! Everyone had the biggest smile on their faces all day long, and it was truly such a special day. Kylie and BJ had a jewel-tone color palette which looked so beautiful with the white barn venue and was perfect for a fall wedding. I loved the mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses in a variety of autumn colors! I loved all the personal details they incorporated as well, from the custom whiskey barrel to the huge marquee sign with their new family name! And of course, their precious pupper Roush was there looking so handsome in his bowtie collar!
First of all, I am in LOVE with the beautiful Nest at Ruth Farms in Ponder, Texas!! This was my first time at this venue and I just couldn’t get over how pretty everything was! I have a couple weddings at this venue next year, so getting to photograph Sheri & Taylor’s wedding day here made me so excited!
